What You'll Be DoingAs a Physical Therapist Assistant, you'll play a key role in helping residents improve mobility, regain strength, and maximize independence.
Responsibilities Include:- Providing physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Assisting residents in achieving functional goals and improved quality of life
- Implementing individualized treatment plans
- Monitoring resident progress and communicating updates to the therapy team
- Educating residents and families on exercises, safety techniques, and functional mobility
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements
- Collaborating with nursing, therapy, and interdisciplinary team members to provide exceptional resident care
- Bringing positive energy, compassion, and professionalism to every patient interaction
What We're Looking ForQualifications:- Active California Physical Therapist Assistant License (or eligible to obtain)
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Passion for helping others achieve their rehabilitation goals
- Experience in skilled nursing or post-acute care is a plus, but not required
- Familiarity with PointClickCare, Net Health, or similar EMR systems is preferred
