Job Description
Due Date - 06/25/2025
Greater Binghamton Health Center is in need of a full time Physical Therapist for Adult Services and Active Treatment Programming. This is a contracted 40 hour weekly position. Basic schedule is Monday-Friday 8AM-4:30PM, but there is some flexibility as long as full-time services can be provided.

This is primarily for our Geropsychiatric Units with referrals from our Intermediate Treatment Services. We have an aging mental health geriatric population that need strengthening, gait and balance training, and education and training for self-propelling using walkers, wheelchairs, and gerichairs.

We would also plan for the Physical Therapist to consult with the Treatment Teams about patients identified for our Falling
Stars Programming. These are patients who have been identified as having a heightened risk for falling. The Clinician would sit
on our Falls Committee, which is a committee that manages incident recommendations and safety planning related to patient
falls.

Must possess license and registration to practice physical therapy in New York State.
