We are currently looking for a full-time Physical Therapist to join our team. This position would be responsible for providing skilled physical therapy care to homecare patients in South Orange, West Orange and Newark as needed.Responsibilities
- Supports organization's mission by striving for excellence in all aspects of their job with a focus on positive interpersonal relationship with co-workers
- Assesses and evaluates client for physical therapy needs and develops and implements appropriate plan of action in collaboration with the physician
- Documents all changes in client's condition and updates care plans and outcomes accordingly
- Identifies counseling needs and plans appropriate teaching strategies
- Monitors quality and appropriateness of services provided
- Adheres to agency infection control and safety policies
- Adheres to the organization's policy in regards to absenteeism and appearance
- Omission of specific duties does not exclude them from this position if the work is similar, related or a logical assignment for this position
Qualities
- Physical Therapy Licensure in NJ required
- 2-3 years of prior clinical experience and community based experience preferred
- Strong computer skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid NJ drivers license
Working Conditions/Physical Demand: Working indoors/outdoors, driving, lifting, sitting, standing, walking, fine motor hand movement, use of phone and tablet for documentation
In compliance with New Jersey's Pay Transparency Act, the total compensation range for this position is USD $80,000.00 to USD $135,000.00.
