Bayside Physical Therapy & Sports Rehabilitation, voted "The Best" for 10 years running by local Shore Update publication readers, is seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a full-time Physical Therapist in our fun and energetic outpatient orthopedic clinic in Glen Burnie. If you are interested in a mentorship program - work with our local leadership to customize one which meets your needs.
  • Assess patients to develop and initiate treatment plans based on the evaluation results
  • Review the physician's referral (prescription) and the patient's condition and medical records to determine the physical therapy treatment required
  • Provide direct patient care by established protocols and patient care guidelines
  • Document findings, progress, and instructions to patients and caregivers
  • Responsible for patient care performed by assistants and rehabilitation technicians
  • Complete a written plan of care, develop goals based on evaluation findings, and develop a comprehensive program to attain goals
  • Implement physical therapy treatment program and provide essential physical therapy treatments
  • Communicate effectively with patients/caregivers and professional colleagues, including physicians and insurance companies
  • Ensure timely documentation, including daily notes, weekly workers' compensation reports, progress reports, initial evaluations, discharge summaries, and incident reports

  • Current state of Maryland license, CPR certification
  • Exercise and manual-based skills with sports rehabilitation experience

Additional Information

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $80,000 -$90,000. Salary is based on various factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography. Additionally, this position is eligible for discretionary incentive compensation. The Company's incentive compensation plan is subject to change. Medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off, and other benefits are also available, subject to the terms of the Company's plan.
