Full Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our growing team in Plano, TX. In this role, you will make a meaningful difference in patients' lives by developing and implementing individualized treatment plans that restore function, reduce pain, and promote independence. You will work in a collaborative, patient-centered environment where your clinical expertise, empathy, and commitment to excellence are valued and supported. • Conduct comprehensive physical assessments and evaluations to develop customized treatment plans aligned with patient goals and physician recommendations • Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques and modalities to address patient impairments and functional limitations • Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment plans, and home exercise programs to promote active participation in recovery • Maintain detailed, accurate, and timely documentation of all patient evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress notes in compliance with clinical standards • Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care • Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and communicate outcomes with the healthcare team • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, documentation standards, and organizational policies • Demonstrate professional growth through continued learning and staying current with best practices in physical therapy Qualifications • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Program • Current Physical Therapist license in the state of Texas or eligibility to obtain licensure • Current CPR/First Aid certification • Professional liability insurance • Strong clinical assessment, evaluation, and treatment planning skills • Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems and documentation software • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to educate and motivate patients • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team environment • Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail • Physical stamina and manual dexterity required for patient care delivery • Problem-solving and analytical abilities to adapt treatment approaches based on patient response • Preferred: Prior experience in outpatient, home health, or clinical physical therapy settings • Preferred: Experience with diverse patient populations and various diagnoses Additional Information At Therapy Partners of North Texas, we believe in fostering a rewarding and supportive work environment.
