Physical Therapist / Physical Therapist Assistant (PT/PTA)

Full-Time | Outpatient & Inpatient Coverage

We are seeking either a Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team serving patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings. Whether you're an experienced clinician or looking to grow your career, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference while working alongside a collaborative, patient-focused team.

Schedule

Typical Four 10-Hour Daylight Shifts
  • Monday & Wednesday: Smethport
  • Tuesday & Thursday: Shinglehouse
  • Weekend & Holiday Rotation: Inpatient coverage

What You'll Do
  • Evaluate, treat, and support patients in achieving their mobility and rehabilitation goals (within scope of practice).
  • Develop or implement individualized treatment plans designed to improve function, reduce pain, and restore independence.
  • Monitor patient progress and communicate updates with the rehabilitation team.
  • Educate patients and families on treatment plans, recovery, and home exercise programs.
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Complete accurate and timely documentation.
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

Physical Therapist (PT)
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
  • Current Physical Therapist license in the practicing state.
  • Salary Range: $35.22 - $52.18/hour

Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
  • Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
  • Current Physical Therapist Assistant license (or eligibility) in the practicing state.
  • Salary Range: $22.56 - $32.13/hour

Licensure, Certifications & Clearances (PT & PTA)
  • BLS or CPR certification required within 30 days of hire
  • Act 33 Clearance
  • Act 34 Clearance
  • Act 73 FBI Clearance
