Overview

Pediatric PT | Integrated Care + School Based Setting | $75K–$95K with Sign-on Bonus $7,500.

At HPRC in Columbus, GA, you’ll step into a role that goes far beyond traditional outpatient care. As part of a program affiliated with Easter Seals, you’ll work in a fully integrated environment where therapy is embedded into a child’s daily life.  You’ll collaborate side by side with Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapists, as well as teachers and caregivers, to support children with developmental delays and special needs while also treating outpatient pediatric patients from the local community. This is a rare opportunity to practice in one of the largest pediatric therapy settings in the region, where you can build meaningful relationships and see your impact in real time.

Columbus offers the energy of a growing city with a strong sense of community  without congestion. Located near a major Army installation, the area provides a diverse patient population, outdoor recreation, and easy access to both the mountains and the coast.

Responsibilities

  • Provide pediatric physical therapy services within a daycare setting, allowing children to receive care during their normal daily routines for more natural, real-world progress.
  • Partner with a multidisciplinary team (OT, SLP, teachers, and caregivers) to deliver comprehensive, coordinated care.
  • Review each child’s medical history, developmental milestones, and family concerns to guide evidence-based, individualized care.
  • Evaluate movement, strength, coordination, balance, and functional skills through play-based and standardized assessments in the child’s everyday environment
  • Create individualized, family-centered treatment plans that support development and participation in daily daycare activities and routines.
  • Monitor progress closely and adjust the plan of care to meet each child’s evolving needs.
  • Partner with families and caregivers by providing education, home exercise programs, and strategies to support progress outside of therapy sessions.

  • Industry-leading continuing education through Evidence in Motion (EIM) including residency, fellowship, and board certification support.
  • Multiple career pathways: clinical excellence, hybrid roles, and leadership.
