Overview

Our fully funded Orthopedic Residency Program gives you the opportunity to advance your clinical skills, strengthen your orthopedic expertise, and work toward your OCS certification with the support of experienced mentors and clinical leaders.

Whether you’re a new graduate looking to build a strong foundation or an experienced clinician ready to take your orthopedic practice to the next level, TexPTS provides the resources and support to help you grow. You’ll treat a diverse outpatient caseload with an average of 12 patients per day, giving you the time to focus on quality care while developing your clinical reasoning, manual therapy skills, and treatment expertise. With dedicated mentorship, continuing education opportunities, leadership pathways, and a potential sign-on bonus of up to $5K, you’ll have a clear path to advance your career with a team invested in your success.

Responsibilities

  • Applying your clinical reasoning to assess movement dysfunction and identify underlying causes through patient history and physical examination.
  • Collaboratively developing and adjusting evidence-based plans of care that reflect each patient’s goals, needs, and lifestyle.
  • Delivering skilled interventions, including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, and modalities, to improve function and reduce pain.
  • Tracking meaningful patient outcomes and adjusting your approach based on progress and clinical presentation.
  • Serving as a trusted resource and advocate for your patients throughout their recovery journey.
Qualifications
  • Licensed Physical Therapist (or ability to obtain licensure in the state of practice).
  • Passion for evidence-based, patient-centered care.

About

Compensation: $83K-102K + Sign On Bonus of up to $5k + weekly bonus based on patient volume up to an additional ~$8k per year, average less than 12 patients per day, and virtually unlimited CEUs! Benefits include generous paid time off, medical, dental, vision, disability, and 401(K) with a 4% employer match.
