Qualifications

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

Responsibilities

  • Perform evaluations and re-evaluations to assess patient progress
  • Establish individualized treatment plans based on evaluations
  • Complete documentation for patient discharges and provide follow-up recommendations
  • Document patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner
  • Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans and home care
  • Participate in practice changes from performance improvement activities
  • Adapt work hours and assist in other centers as patient needs change

Full Job Description
StaffFlex contract, 13 weeks $65.00/hr Monday - Friday 9a - 5:30p or 8a - 6:30p No on-call
  • Performs evaluations and re-evaluations to assess patient conditions and progress.
  • Establishes individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results and patient goals.
  • Discharges patients by completing necessary documentation and providing follow-up recommendations.
  • Documents patient care activities accurately and timely in the medical record.
  • Charges for services rendered according to established billing procedures.
  • Educates patients and caregivers about treatment plans, exercises, and home care instructions.
  • Participates in practice changes resulting from performance improvement activities.
  • Supports quality standards and initiatives set by the department.
  • Maintains clinical competencies through ongoing education and training.
  • Meets productivity standards defined by the department.
  • Adapts to changes in patient census by adjusting work hours and assisting in other centers or programs as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Entry level professional competency of Physical Therapy practices, theory, principles and applications as defined in competencies departmental policy [Required]
  • Basic computer skills to include Outlook, Microsoft Office and Windows. [Preferred]

  • Doctorate [Preferred]
