Job Summary The Minnesota Veterans Home - Minneapolis is looking for a full-time Physical Therapist. This position willprovide physical therapy evaluation and treatment to residents so that maximum functioning can be achieved and maintained.

- Licensed as a Physical Therapist by the Minnesota Board of Physical Therapy
Preferred Qualifications - Specialized expertise in geriatric and neurologic physical therapy, with a focus on the assessment and treatment of individuals with progressive neurological conditions.
- Demonstrated passion and clinical proficiency in delivering comprehensive, evidence-based therapeutic services to individuals with complex chronic medical conditions, emphasizing individualized care, functional outcomes, and quality of life.
- Two years of experience as a Physical Therapist working in a long term care environment.
Additional Requirements This position requires successful completion of the following:
- A Minnesota Department of Human services (DHS) background check may be conducted on the top finalist(s) for the position(s). When conducted, a finalist must pass the DHS background check.
- A Tuberculosis (Mantoux) screening (or chest x-ray) is required prior to employment.
