***Sign-on Bonus***Position SummaryProvides physical therapy services to patients by developing and implementing individualized treatment programs to improve mobility, function, and independence. Provides education to patients and caregivers and supervises Physical Therapy Assistants, Aides, and/or Technicians as appropriate.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate patient needs and implement individualized physical therapy treatment plans.
- Provide physical therapy services in accordance with established plans of care and patient goals.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers regarding treatment goals, exercises, equipment, and ongoing care.
- Monitor patient progress and prepare required clinical and progress documentation.
- Participate in care coordination, case conferences, and discharge planning.
- Supervise and provide direction to Physical Therapy Assistants, Aides, and/or Technicians.
- Assist with the appropriate use, maintenance, and availability of therapy equipment and supplies.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with other members of the healthcare team.
Minimum Qualifications- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program; doctorate degree in Physical Therapy preferred.
- Current California Physical Therapist license or eligibility for licensure.
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Two (2) years of Physical Therapist experience preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Job Type: Full-time, Variable
Pay: $60.00-$81.00/hourly
