Qualifications

• Valid New Jersey physical therapy license and registration required.
• Experience in outpatient musculoskeletal practice preferred.
• Strong communication skills to interact with patients effectively.
• Ability to document and chart in E.H.R. system efficiently.
• Capability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and transferring patients.

Responsibilities

• Assess and interpret patient evaluations and test results to develop treatment plans.
• Administer manual exercises to help patients succeed in their treatment plans.
• Instruct patients in physical activities and the use of therapeutic devices.
• Provide physical therapy treatments such as massages and electrical stimulation.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress, recommending plan adjustments as necessary.
• Design home exercise programs to ensure therapeutic continuity after discharge.
• Document all patient care services accurately in the E.H.R. system.
