Physical Therapist

Location: Elgin, Illinois
Status: Full-Time (40 Hours/Week)
Days/Hours: Days and evenings (no weekends)
Salary Range (depending on experience): $80,000 - $124,800/year (plus bonuses)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Responsible for day-to-day operations of the clinic, supervision of Subordinate (PTA, Tech) clinic staff in addition to a full schedule of patient treatment.
  • Meet or exceed clinic goals set by Department and Clinic Manager related to operational performance metrics.
  • Cultivate relationships between staff and patients as well as the community.
  • Assist with building a team culture with a PT/ PTA/ Tech. Directs activities of PTA's and Techs as needed for quality patient care, efficiency, and productivity.
  • Adheres to policies and procedures including CEUs, vacation/time off, punctuality/attendance.
  • Maintains appropriate confidentiality.
  • Notifies/documents patient discharge to doctors.
  • Support development of team members to ensure high quality of care while insuring good efficiencies and productivity per the prescribed metrics.
  • Develop individualized plans of care and treat patients through all phases of physical therapy with an emphasis towards compassionate, comprehensive, and evidenced based approaches, restoring patients to full functionality.
  • Complete daily patient care, progress, and discharge notes within 24 hours.
  • Provide continuous communication with referring physicians and other referral sources.
  • Participates in marketing services within Fox Valley Orthopedics as well as with outside of FVO for referral opportunities.
  • Maintain clinical logs and checklists necessary for compliance.
  • Provide excellent patient care as a primary goal and demonstrate and communicate these skills to your patient to provide an exceptional experience for your patients.
  • Exhibit a passion for physical therapy and patient outcomes while providing compassion for your patient's understanding and progress toward their goals.

Education and/or Experience

Required:
  • A degree in Physical Therapy
  • Current active Physical Therapy license and license eligible to practice Physical Therapy in the State of Illinois

Preferred:
  • CPR/AED Certification
