What This Role Looks LikeYou will take an active role in patient care while helping guide clinical operations. That means evaluating patients, creating care plans, treating patients, reviewing notes, answering staff questions, and helping the clinic maintain a steady, professional rhythm throughout the week.
This is a practical leadership role for a Physical Therapist who understands outpatient care and wants to help both patients and staff move forward with clarity.
Responsibilities- Complete initial evaluations, reassessments, and discharge planning
- Treat patients with orthopedic, post-surgical, balance, mobility, and pain-related conditions
- Oversee clinical workflows and daily patient care delivery
- Guide staff on treatment progression and documentation standards
- Monitor patient outcomes and support quality improvement efforts
- Help resolve clinic flow, scheduling, and care coordination needs
- Maintain accurate records in line with payer and regulatory standards
- Build positive working relationships with providers and referral sources
Requirements- Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Active Virginia Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain one
- Outpatient physical therapy experience required
- Previous leadership, supervisory, or clinic management experience preferred
- Strong understanding of treatment planning and clinical documentation
- Professional communication and team leadership skills
