Qualifications

  • WA State Department of Health Physical Therapist Licensure

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Physical Therapist, you will help patients rebuild or maintain their physical wellbeing so they can function at their best level, reduce pain, and improve their quality of life.Every day you will perform initial evaluations, develop and update individualized plans of care, and provide a variety of direct treatments. You will be expected to consistently meet patient care productivity standards, collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and families, and promote a positive customer service environment.To be successful in this role, you must possess strong age-appropriate competency skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative, patient-centered approach to care.

Job Requirements

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Physical Therapy
  • Six (6) Month Clinical Internship
  • WA State Department of Health Physical Therapist Licensure
  • CPR Certification
  • Staff Level II
    • Minimum of one (1) year work experience as a Physical Therapist
    • FTE status of 0.5 or greater
  • Working knowledge of anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, wound healing, and disease progression
  • An understanding of the base components, both physical and cognitive, of ADLs (assisted daily living) and levels of ADL independence
  • The ability to customize, adapt, and graduate to a home or work site environment or to adapt to a given treatment plan and equipment
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills
