Compensation:$115,000 - $125,000 annually (Base Salary)
Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and motivated
Physical Therapist - Clinical Director to lead our outpatient Physical Therapy clinic in Florence, Arizona. This role combines clinical excellence with operational leadership, overseeing the delivery of high-quality patient care and managing the clinic's daily operations.
The
Physical Therapist - Clinical Director will mentor and support the rehabilitation team, drive patient outcomes, optimize clinic performance, and foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and exceptional customer service. This position is ideal for a licensed Physical Therapist who enjoys both patient care and leadership.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical leadership and oversight for all rehabilitation services within the clinic.
- Maintain an active patient caseload while managing day-to-day clinic operations.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop Physical Therapists, Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs), and support staff.
- Ensure delivery of evidence-based, patient-centered care and achievement of optimal functional outcomes.
- Monitor clinic productivity, patient satisfaction, quality metrics, and operational performance.
- Oversee scheduling, staffing, workflow efficiency, and resource utilization.
- Recruit, onboard, train, and evaluate clinical team members.
- Ensure compliance with state practice acts, Medicare regulations, HIPAA, OSHA, and accreditation standards.
- Partner with regional leadership to achieve financial, operational, and quality goals.
- Foster relationships with referring providers and community partners.
- Support business development initiatives and promote clinic growth.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with payer requirements.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives and implement best practices across the clinic.
Required Qualifications- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current Arizona Physical Therapist license (or ability to obtain prior to start).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of outpatient orthopedic physical therapy experience.
- Previous leadership, supervisory, or clinic management experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of outpatient rehabilitation operations and clinical best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
Preferred Qualifications- Board Certification (OCS or other ABPTS specialty certification).
- Experience managing clinic operations, budgeting, and staff performance.
- Demonstrated success improving patient outcomes and clinic performance metrics.
- Experience with quality improvement initiatives and operational efficiency.
