Your Role as a PTA
Under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, you will play an important role in helping patients achieve their rehabilitation goals.
Responsibilities include:
- Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist
- Provide skilled therapeutic interventions to improve strength, mobility, balance, endurance, and functional independence
- Assist patients with gait training, therapeutic exercises, transfers, and functional activities
- Monitor patient response to treatment and communicate progress to the supervising PT
- Provide education and encouragement to patients and caregivers
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation
- Collaborate with the rehabilitation and interdisciplinary care teams
- Promote patient safety, dignity, independence, and quality of life

Qualifications
- Current and active California Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
