Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited physical therapy assistant program with an Associate Degree.
• Current state or multi-state PT license through the PT Licensure Compact.
• One year of experience as a PTA, preferably in home health.
• Familiarity with HCHB EMR system is a plus.
• Demonstrated therapy skills in accordance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one physical therapy to home health patients of all ages.
• Coordinate care effectively under the supervision of a Licensed Physical Therapist.
• Communicate with patients and families regarding therapy goals and progress.
• Document patient interactions and treatment plans in compliance with regulations.
• Drive to various locations to deliver patient care as needed.
