PTA Position Highlights:
  • Competitive Pay: $93,600 - $104,000 Annual Salary
  • Full Benefits: Medical Insurance, Dental Insurance, Vision Insurance, HSA and FSA, Voluntary and Supplemental Insurance options, 401(k), Employee Assistance Plan (EAP)
  • Patient Type: Adult and Geriatric Patients
  • Setting: 5 Star Medicare Skilled Nursing Facility
  • Onsite Required: No Remote, No Telehealth, or No Hybrid
  • EMR System: NetHealth
  • Flexible Schedule: Monday - Friday, Sunday - Thursday, or Tuesday - Saturday
  • Shift/ Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm - 40 hours per week
  • Mentorship & Growth: Work directly with senior PTs and access growth opportunities
  • Collaborative Team: Multidisciplinary care environment

Core Responsibilities:
  • Assist in Implementing Treatment Plans Carry out physical therapy interventions as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist, focusing on improving patient mobility, strength, and function.
  • Monitor and Report Patient Progress Observe patient responses to treatments, document outcomes, and communicate progress or concerns to the Physical Therapist for plan adjustments.
  • Educate and Support Patients Instruct patients and caregivers on exercises, mobility techniques, and use of assistive devices to promote independence and recovery.

Qualifications & Requirements:
  • 1 or more years of Physical Therapist Assistant experience preferred
  • New Grad Friendly - Mentorship Available - Active CA PTA License Required
  • Active California Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License - Must be in good standing with no disciplinary actions
  • Active BLS Card Required American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid guidelines for wound care services in skilled nursing facilities.
