Wage for this exempt position: $110,032.00 annually, with a performance-based bonus structure

Position Summary

The Physical Therapist for Work Performance provides physical therapy services to a wide variety of patients and works closely with others on the rehabilitation team and in other departments. In this role, the Physical Therapist provides patients/clients with quality, cost-effective services aimed at optimizing independent function. Individuals may be assigned permanently, temporarily, or simultaneously to more than one worksite where specific job requirements are described as an addendum to the job description. For this reason, therapists are expected to be generalists able to provide at least a basic assessment to all referred patients.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Provide evidence-based physical therapy services to injured workers to improve function, mobility, and independence.
  • Collaborate with Occupational Health providers, in-house clinicians, and external stakeholders to support integrated care planning.
  • Conduct pre-placement testing to assess functional readiness for job-specific demands.
  • Perform ergonomic evaluations and provide recommendations to reduce workplace injury risk.
  • Complete functional and physical capacity evaluations in accordance with established protocols.
  • Document all clinical encounters in compliance with regulatory, legal, and organizational standards.
  • Participate in injury prevention initiatives and employer-focused problem-solving.
  • Physical therapy services are delivered in individualized, one-on-one sessions scheduled in 60-minute increments.
Position Qualifications

Experience

  • None required outside of licensure

Licensure/Certifications

  • PT: Physical Therapist license issued by the Oregon Physical Therapist Licensing Board -OR- PT-CP: Physical Therapist Compact Privilege issued by the Physical Therapy Compact Commission (PTCC) is required upon start.
  • BLS: Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider, certified by the American Heart Association, is required upon start.
  • ODL: Oregon Driver's License- Possession of a valid Oregon Driver's License with proof of a safe driving record for the past ten years, and proof of insurance may be required.

Preferred Certifications:

  • Certification in FCE testing (Blakenship, Isernhagen, Matheson, etc).
  • Certified Ergonomic Specialist.
