What We're Doing:
As the RMS Physical Security Operations Center Supervisor, you will be responsible for the Resource Protection mission for the Orlando Site to include supervising contracted Security Officer staff for the business area wide RMS Security Operations Center (SOC). The Supervisor will act as a point of contact in supporting the build out of the new consolidated SOC to include reviewing and implementing emerging technologies, coordinating response and feedback from RMS Sites/Security Professionals, and ensuring compliance with procedures, security policies, and UL Certification. This is an operational role, you'll set standards for physical security, run the SOC, manage contractors, own the metrics, and answer for outcomes if something goes wrong, even when outside of normal business hours. This role is based in Orlando, will support Orlando physical security functions and will serve as a key stakeholder reporting up to the RMS Security Operations Senior Manager.
The Work:
SOC Supervision, Staffing, Training & Coordination
- Support our contracted guard provider in recruiting, training, and managing SOC operators, act as the central dispatch focal point for alarm reporting and incident response.
- Establish and implement policies and procedures to support the local, RMS, and enterprise physical security programs.
- Deliver training and education to team members and to build a resilient SOC talent pipeline.
Technologies & Identity Management
- Coordinate with the RMS Resource Protection Lead to oversee video management, access control, intrusion detection, and other physical security systems across RMS sites, ensuring enterprise security standards are consistently applied and integrated.
- Drive large scale technology programs, supporting the emerging technologies roadmap, and pilot solutions that align with OneLM Goals and RMS needs.
- Maintain and update Access Control Systems, and support large meetings with badge op, FN/escort/briefing events, and parking arrangements.
Who we are:
Operational Support & Vendor Management
- Provide RMS wide day to day support-including coordination with locksmith services, ticket handling, and contract administration-for Orlando and supporting wider RMS security operations.
- Oversee multi million dollar security maintenance contracts, monitor vendor performance, and ensure contractual compliance.
- Partner with Sites, Facilities, and larger Security Operations Organization on new construction and facilities security needs.
Compliance, Audits & Standards
- Support SOC and Government audit readiness to guarantee 100 % compliance with UL, 32 CFR Part 117, NISPOM, DCSA, and other customer requirements.
- Produce alarm and audit reports, and provide audit support for UL, DCSA, and related stakeholders.
Cross Functional Integration & Advisory Role
- Support the RMS Resource Protection lead in Contracted Guard Management.
- Serve as a trusted advisor linking Security, Facilities, Operations, ESH, and Programs with Physical Security Support.
- Translate requirements into clear, standardized SOPs and ensure consistent delivery across the enterprise, keeping security capabilities optimized and ahead of evolving threats.

Basic Qualifications
- This is an operational role and you must be willing to answer for outcomes when something goes wrong outside of normal business hours. Candidate must be team oriented and possess basic operational experience in physical security, familiarity with Security Operation Centers, and support audits and investigations.
- Applicant must be a self-driven and results-oriented individual capable of effectively working multiple tasks concurrently across a large enterprise landscape with various requirements and customers.
- The ability to articulate, own, and present intelligent, decisive and risk-managed security recommendations is essential.
- Demonstrate knowledge and expertise with physical access control systems, video management, alarms, and be adept at integrating these systems for large complex facilities across multiple time zones.
- Must be willing to travel and able to conduct assessments, planning, and support vendor quarterly business reviews.
- Will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to US classified information at the Secret level. Eligible to access Export Controlled information as defined by US law and contracts.
Desired skills
- Candidate would ideally have experience with physical security systems within the Defense Industry.
- Experience with Lenel, Avigilon, Honeywell, and/or other similar systems is preferred.
- Certifications like CPP, PSP, PMP, FSO Certification, or other relevant certifications are a plus.
- Ability to think quickly on their feet, pulling from operational experience and working with minimal data to make vital business and personnel decisions.
- Familiarity with crisis management and global security operations.
- Contractor/Vendor Management and strong customer service and delivery.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited College or University, preferably in a related discipline or field of study.
- Proficient knowledge and use of all Microsoft Office Professional Suite, Teams, SharePoint, database management tools, and other basic IT or web enabling skills is also desired
National Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $69,900 - $123,280. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
Premium Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $80,400 - $139,380. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
