Additional Information About the RoleWe are seeking a dedicated and versatile Supervisor to join our Siteman Pharmacy team. This individual will play a crucial role in the primary workflows at a NCCN/NCI Comprehensive Cancer Center: Ambulatory Infusion, Investigational Drug Services, and Specialty Retail.
This position requires a pharmacist licensed in
Missouri. Primary goals for this role are: pharmacist in charge - system standardization and day to day department staffing optimization.

- Hours of operation typically from 7:30AM to 7:30PM
OverviewPreferred QualificationsRole PurposeEnsures the prompt and accurate preparation and dispensing of medications according to prescription orders from practitioners authorized by law to prescribe. Instructs, coordinates and monitors the work activities of staff to meet patient and customer needs in accordance with the rules and regulations for pharmacy operations.
ResponsibilitiesManages individual(s) including but not limited to: hires, trains, assigns work, manages & evaluates performance, conducts professional development plans. Ensures that the productivity and actions of that group meet/support the overall operational goals of the department as established by department leadership.Assists with pharmacy operations and integration with other departments.Provides pharmaceutical care appropriate to the needs and age of the patients served.Interprets patient data to identify, prevent, and resolve drug therapy problems and ensures safe and effective drug therapy.Coordinates and reviews the work of Pharmacists, Technicians and Students.Assists in development and enforcement of pharmacy policies and procedures in accordance with all hospital policies and governmental regulationsMay participate in the development of departmental staffing, revenue and/or expense budgets and having direct responsibility for adhering to those goals. This includes responding to changes in the business which may affect the ability to achieve the budget goals.Minimum RequirementsEducationBachelor's Degree - Pharmacy
