Inizio Engage is seeking a highly motivated Pharmacy Process Optimization Manager to strengthen pharmacy systems operational efficiency, support regulatory compliance, and improve workflow performance across pharmacy services. This role is specifically focused on pharmacy operations systems optimization, operational workflows, system utilization, and cross-functional processes to improve scalability, efficiency, and service delivery for patients, providers, and pharmaceutical partners.
The Pharmacy Process Optimization Manager will lead initiatives that optimize pharmacy operations, enhance workflow performance, improve systems utilization, and support continuous process improvement across pharmacy services. This position will also be responsible for developing and maintaining pharmacy process documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), workflow guides, and training materials that support operational consistency, staff development, and organizational excellence.

What will you be doing?
- Lead pharmacy operations process optimization initiatives focused on improving workflow efficiency, systems utilization, operational scalability, service delivery, and overall performance across pharmacy services
- Assess pharmacy operational workflows, procedures, and technology platforms to identify inefficiencies, operational gaps, bottlenecks, and opportunities for continuous improvement
- Develop, maintain, and update pharmacy standard operating procedures (SOPs), workflow documentation, process maps, training materials, and operational best practices to support consistency, compliance, and staff effectiveness
- Serve as a pharmacy systems super user by providing operational support, workflow guidance, troubleshooting assistance, and subject matter expertise for pharmacy operating systems and related technology platforms
- Monitor operational performance, service levels, workflow metrics, and patient support activities to ensure timely, accurate, and patient-centered service delivery
- Manage and resolve operational escalations related to workflows, systems, patient onboarding, referral progression, therapy initiation, and service-related concerns through cross-functional collaboration and root cause analysis
- Leverage operational data, reporting tools, and pharmacy systems to identify trends, measure workflow effectiveness, support strategic decision-making, and recommend data-driven process improvements
- Prepare operational reports, dashboards, presentations, and performance summaries for leadership review and ongoing operational planning
- Partner with internal stakeholders to improve referral conversion, patient access, therapy initiation timelines, adherence support, and continuity of care through optimized operational workflows
- Support operational integration, workflow design, systems optimization, implementation planning, training coordination, and readiness activities for new pharmaceutical products, programs, and operational initiatives
- Collaborate with program leadership, implementation teams, pharmacy operations, patient support services, compliance, technology teams, and external partners to ensure operational alignment and effective execution of strategic initiatives
- Identify systemic operational or technology-related issues and recommend corrective actions, workflow enhancements, and sustainable process solutions to leadership
- Support audit readiness activities and ensure operational processes remain compliant with HIPAA requirements, pharmacy regulations, accreditation standards, organizational policies, and applicable regulatory requirements
- Promote a culture of operational excellence, accountability, compliance, continuous improvement, and cross-functional collaboration throughout pharmacy operations
- Partner with program leadership, implementation teams, pharmacy operations, and technology stakeholders to plan and execute transitions for existing pharmacy programs, ensuring operational readiness, process consistency, regulatory compliance, and uninterrupted service delivery

What do you need for this position?
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related discipline required
- 3–5 years of experience in pharmacy operations, specialty pharmacy, patient support services, healthcare operations, or process improvement environments required
- Strong working knowledge of PrimeRx pharmacy management software required
- Demonstrated analytical thinking, organizational ability, and problem-solving capability
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong work ethic
- Determined to succeed and contribute in a collaborative environment
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
- Ability to travel as necessary, including overnight and/or weekend travel
- Experience supporting operational excellence, workflow optimization, systems implementation, and cross-functional collaboration preferred
The base pay range for this position is $105K – $195K per year. The final compensation offered to a successful candidate will be determined by factors such as experience, skills, internal equity, and business needs.
