Pay Information:
Internal Hires: Step placement and rate of pay will be determined based on applicable Rules or Union Contract Terms.
External Hires: This position starts at $40.04 per hour and up based on relevant experience. Step placement and rate of pay will be determined based on relevant experience.
Job Summary:
The Pharmacy Informaticist supports the optimization and maintenance of pharmacy information systems to improve medication safety, workflow efficiency, and regulatory compliance. This role collaborates with pharmacy staff, clinicians, and IT to ensure accurate system functionality across platforms such as EHRs, automated dispensing systems, and medication management tools. Responsibilities include assisting with system configuration, testing, troubleshooting, data analysis, and user training, while promoting data integrity and supporting quality improvement initiatives. The position requires a strong foundation in pharmacy operations, technical aptitude, attention to detail, and effective cross-functional communication.
