Must-Haves
Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from an accredited college of pharmacy.
Current Pharmacist license to practice in the state required on hire.
One (1) year of previous hospital pharmacy experience
Nice-To-Haves
5+ years as pharmacist in a critical care hospital
Experience as Lead or Leadership role.
Under the direction of the Pharmacy Director, performs clinical and professional pharmaceutical work. The position requires extensive contact with the administration, medical staff, nursing service, hospital staff, and nonhospital personnel (vendors, auditors). This position is responsible for the oversight and leadership of clinical activities of the pharmacy department.
The role participates in standards of practice, ensures quality and patient safety regarding medication management and process improvement activities.
