As the Staff Pharmacist, you will be part of a small, collaborative pharmacy team where your clinical knowledge and ideas can make a real difference. You will attend treatment team meetings, provide pharmaceutical expertise to staff, dispense medications, and help ensure medications are used safely and appropriately. You will have the opportunity to take on clinical responsibilities beyond the traditional staff pharmacist role, including medication management, quality improvement, teaching, and student precepting. You will also participate in the hospital's after-hours on-call rotation approximately every third week, with additional compensation for on-call services.

To be considered for the Staff Pharmacist position, you must have a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from a school or college of pharmacy recognized by the North Dakota Board of Pharmacy and hold an active North Dakota pharmacist license in good standing or be eligible to obtain a North Dakota pharmacist license within the next year.LocationND HHS utilizes a blended workplace model. This position is required to work onsite at the State Hospital in Jamestown, North Dakota.
