HOURS OF WORK:
The stated hours of work are approximate as schedules are subject to change with the operational needs of the Health Centre. Changes made to hours of work will follow the terms of the applicable collective agreement, company policy and/or legislation.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

The Pharmacist provides pharmaceutical care to inpatients and pharmacy services to selected outpatients. As well, s/he participates in medication dispensing and acts as a resource for health centre personnel and patients on medications.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy required.
  • Current license to practice in the province of Ontario.
  • Hospital pharmacy residency or equivalent experience preferred.


WHO YOU ARE:
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of pharmacy and pharmacy related operations.
  • Strong organizational skills to perform required tasks (technical/cognitive) in a continually changing environment in an efficient manner.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with staff, physicians, nurses, patients and the community.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Customer focused.
