Position Title: Pharmacist Manager

Location: Assigned Pharmacy Site

Status: Salaried/Exempt

Reports To: Pharmacy Director

Direct Reports: Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians

Position Summary:

As a Pharmacist Manager at Kintegra, you'll lead pharmacy operations while delivering high-quality, patient- centered care. You'll oversee medication dispensing, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with

healthcare teams to optimize therapeutic outcomes. This role combines leadership, clinical engagement, and operational excellence to support our mission of accessible, community-based healthcare.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational & Compliance

  • Ensure safe, lawful operation of the pharmacy in accordance with NC Pharmacy Practice Act and Board of Pharmacy regulations
  • Maintains pharmacy records, licenses, and permits; ensure visibility and compliance
  • Hire and manage pharmacy staff; oversee technician registration and personnel updates
  • Control pharmacy access and supervise inventory, including controlled substances
  • Prepare emergency plans and report adverse drug events to the Board
  • Participate in audits and maintain readiness for inspections


Clinical & Patient Care

  • Dispense medications accurately and safely
  • Conduct Medication Therapy Management (MTM) and adherence interventions using platforms like Outcomes MTM, EQUIPP, and Aledade
  • Monitor drug regimens for safety, efficacy, and cost-effectiveness
  • Educate patients on medication use, self-monitoring, and chronic disease management
  • Document clinical interventions in Epic and other systems
  • Collaborate with providers to develop evidence-based protocols and improve medication safety


Leadership & Collaboration

  • Conduct weekly rounding with clinical staff to support care coordination
  • Pharmacy students and mentor team members
  • Contribute to Clinical Oversight and Pharmacy & Therapeutics (P&T) Committees
  • Promote a culture of excellence, integrity, and continuous improvement
