licensed Pharmacist to support medication management services within the hospital pharmacy department. The pharmacist will oversee medication dispensing, review physician orders, and ensure safe medication use for patients.Work Environment
- This role operates in a community hospital pharmacy environment supporting both inpatient and outpatient services.
Key Responsibilities- Review and verify physician medication orders.
- Dispense medications safely and accurately.
- Monitor drug therapy for interactions and appropriate dosing.
- Provide medication counseling to patients and healthcare staff.
- Maintain pharmacy inventory and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with physicians and nurses to support patient care.
Requirements- (PharmD) or equivalent degree
- Active Pharmacist license
- Hospital pharmacy experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of medication safety practices
Schedule 5 x 8 hour day shifts
