Hours and Location:
  • This pharmacy serves the local community Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • We are located at 101 Mosaic Ct, Suite 102, St. Joseph, MO 64506


How You'll Make an Impact:

As a Pharmacist-In-Charge on the Specialty Pharmacy team at Omnicell, you'll work at the top of your license, contribute to a community's well-being, and lead the pharmacy team. With autonomy, you'll drive efficient, effective, and continually improving pharmacy operations, while being a part of a global organization dedicated to innovation in medication management.
  • Provide exceptional and personalized patient care and pharmacy consulting services; advise and guide with empathy, confidentiality, and diligence
  • Build effective relationships with local physicians and medical community to ensure accurate and safe dispensing of medication to patients
  • Business acumen and leadership; own pharmacy operations and embrace continual improvement, learning, and leading to provide the best possible patient care and empower the pharmacy team's development
  • Stay informed of regulations, retail pharmacy best practices, and knowledge of specialty diseases such as Autoimmune, Oncology, Hepatitis C, HIV, and more
  • Clinical oversight and industry innovation; committee member participation as Omnicell leads innovation in medication management and elevates the roles of the pharmacist in healthcare

What You'll Bring

Basic Qualifications:
  • Pharm.D. or BS Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy
  • Successful completion of state pharmacy board examination
  • Pharmacist license current and in good standing in Missouri
  • Up-to-date on all continuing education requirements
  • Three (3) years of experience in the practice of pharmacy

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Two (2) to three (3) years of experience in pharmacy management

Work Environment and Physical Demands:
  • This position is moderately active and requires standing, walking, and other movement for the duration of the shift and lifting up to 25 pounds
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear
  • Ability to see distinctions in colors and shapes |
