Full Job Description
The incumbent will provide pharmaceuticals and pharmaceutical care for the residents and clients of the organization in accordance with professional practice and standards promoting safe and appropriate use of drugs in resident care; compound, dispense and distribute medications and other pharmaceuticals to residents from prescriptions issued by physicians, dentists and other qualified practitioners. Perform other duties as required/assigned.
Qualifications:
Baccalaureate degree in Pharmacy from a recognized University is required. Must hold membership in good standing with the Alberta College of Pharmacists. Membership in the following groups is considered beneficial: Pharmacists Association of Alberta, Canadian Society of Hospital Pharmacists, American Society of Consultant Pharmacists (Canadian Chapter)
