Full Job Description
Pharmacist for a direct hire opportunity in a closed-door, technology-driven pharmacy environment in Pflugerville, TX. This position is open to recent graduates as well as pharmacists with prior experience.

Candidates must report onsite to the Pflugerville pharmacy and must already hold active pharmacist licenses in both Texas and California.

Location: Pflugerville, TX 78660
Schedule: 40 hours per week, primarily Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM. Some 12:00 PM-8:00 PM shifts may be required and may be worked remotely. Rotating Saturdays, 8:00 AM-4:00 PM.

Responsibilities:
  • Verify new and refill prescriptions for accuracy, appropriate dosing, interactions, contraindications, and labeling.
  • Oversee pharmacy technicians and support prescription processing, transfers, and fulfillment.
  • Provide patient counseling and medication education by phone.
  • Communicate with prescribers to resolve prescription or clinical questions.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure compliance with pharmacy procedures and applicable regulations.
  • Collaborate with pharmacy leadership and operations teams in a high-volume closed-door environment.

Qualifications:
  • Degree from an accredited College of Pharmacy.
  • Active Texas Pharmacist License in good standing required.
  • Active California Pharmacist License in good standing required.
  • 0-3 years of relevant experience; recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Mail-order, specialty, fulfillment, or closed-door pharmacy experience is a plus.
  • Willingness to obtain additional state licenses as needed.
  • Strong communication, attention to detail, and technical aptitude.
