Our pharmacy offers opportunities to perform clinical pharmacy services for patients in various departments of the hospital, including ICU, PCU/Cardiac, and the Emergency Department. The pharmacy culture is one of comradery, inclusion, and mutual support. With hours between 7 am to 7 pm, work-life balance is valued and encouraged.

How you’ll contribute

A Pharmacist who excels in this role:

Manages drug therapy protocols as a part of an interdisciplinary team. 

Reviews, interprets and evaluates medication orders to identify, prevent and resolve potential or actual drug related problems. 

Provides drug information and education to medical staff, healthcare professionals, and patients, and pharmacy students. 

Documents interventions and their outcomes for use in drug therapy quality improvement efforts. 

Evaluates medication orders for accuracy and completeness prior to order entry. 

Checks for accuracy after filling by technicians.

Applicants should possess a bachelor’s degree at minimum, a Doctoral degree is preferred, along with a pharmacy license active in North Carolina. Additional requirements include:
