Full Job Description
SUMMARY

The Petroleum Engineer will utilize their technical expertise to execute and improve Imperative's proprietary laboratory workflow to developing best in class fluid chemicals for our Improved Oil Recovery (IOR) group. This role involves understanding and improving current laboratory test methods, engineering IOR jobs to meet client specifications, consulting with stakeholders to develop targeted solutions, and maintaining strict confidentiality regarding all data and analyses.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Possesses generalized knowledge of oil and gas operations and products to identify and assist with solutions for design, manufacturing and quality problems.
  • Analyze and interpret characteristics, information, and data related to materials and fluids based upon results of analysis. techniques to develop a best in class fracturing fluid chemical.
  • Leverage engineering expertise to develop next generation laboratory test methods and equipment.
  • Foster, improve, maintain, and offer guidance towards process and product continuous improvements.
  • Develop and provide technical training for internal and external customers.
  • Utilize technical expertise to support the IOR group's evolving needs.
  • Engineer IOR jobs according to client specifications to ensure safe and successful operational execution.
  • Consult with internal and external stakeholders to understand their needs and develop targeted solutions.
  • Maintain absolute confidentiality regarding all internal and external data and analyses.

REQUIRED SKILLS, EDUCATION & KNOWLEDGE:
  • Familiarity with EOR processes and methodologies, as well as data analysis tools and techniques.
