Responsibilities

Arcfield is seeking a Personnel Security Lead to oversee and enhance our established personnel security processes in support of U.S. Government clients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong history of collaboration with U.S. Government agencies, particularly within the Intelligence Community (IC) and Department of Defense (DoD), in the administration of classified contracts. This individual should demonstrate solid program and project management expertise, comprehensive knowledge of security protocols, and a thorough understanding of government security policies and requirements. The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting both internal and external stakeholders while maintaining the ability to deliver high-quality services in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The candidate must also demonstrate adaptability, independence, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct and oversee personnel security operations across Arcfield, ensuring compliance with both internal policies and external customer security practices.
  • Manage a security team or program, ensuring consistent alignment with and adherence to customer security requirements.
  • Evaluate and enhance processes to improve the efficiency and quality of Arcfield's personnel security programs continuously.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure security strategies and programs align with business objectives and priorities.
  • Lead through partnership and people management while delivering strong customer service, operating independently, and effectively resolving challenges.
  • Apply knowledge of IC systems and the Defense Information System for Security (DISS) for pre-screening clearance candidates, submitting individuals for clearances and accesses, scheduling polygraphs, coordinating information with investigators, and managing "reportables" for senior personnel lacking system access.
  • Prepare and manage clearance and access-related reports for senior leadership.
  • Provide security support for IC and DoD proposal activities when required.

Qualifications

Required:
  • Possess either a Bachelor's degree plus 8-10yrs of relevant security experience, or a Master's degree plus 5-7yrs of experience.
  • Must possess and have the ability to maintain an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.
  • Extensive experience managing personnel security programs supporting Intelligence Community (IC) and Department of Defense (DoD) customers, ensuring compliance with government security regulations, classified contract requirements, and agency-specific security policies.
  • Demonstrated leadership in overseeing cleared security personnel, developing and improving security processes, preparing executive-level security reports, and collaborating with government stakeholders to ensure mission success and operational excellence.

Desired:
  • Experience with security tools and systems such as TALON, SIMS, and Lenel is preferred.
