- Client Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients to gather relevant information, provide updates, and explain legal processes.
- Investigation: Conduct thorough investigations of claims, including obtaining medical records, accident reports, and witness statements.
- Settlement Negotiation: Negotiate with insurance companies and opposing parties to secure favorable settlements for clients.
- Documentation: Prepare and review necessary documents, including demand letters and settlement proposals, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the litigation team to ensure smooth transitions of cases to the litigation phase when necessary.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to ethical standards and legal regulations throughout all interactions and processes.
Qualifications:- Education: Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Licensing: Licensed to practice law in the state of Texas, with a strong understanding of personal injury law.
- Experience: Minimum of over 4 years of experience in personal injury law, focused on motor vehicle accident (MVA) and commercial vehicle accident (CVA) cases, with a preference for pre-litigation expertise.
- Skills: Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a client-centric approach.
- Research Skills: Strong legal research skills and attention to detail in facts and documentation.
- Team Player: Proven ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff in a fast-paced environment.
