About this roleWe are looking for a
Pre-Litigation Plaintiff Personal Injury Attorney with
5+ years of experience to take ownership of personal injury cases from intake through settlement at a fast-growing national PI firm. You'll be joining a team that has grown from ~20 people to nearly 100, with a strong culture of internal advancement and meaningful client advocacy.
What will you be doing?- Managing a full caseload of personal injury cases (car accidents, slip and falls, etc.) on the plaintiff side from intake through settlement
- Conducting strategic case investigations, analyzing medical records, and developing case strategy to maximize value
- Negotiating with insurance carriers and opposing counsel on behalf of clients
- Providing compassionate, bilingual (English/Spanish preferred) client communication and setting expectations throughout the legal process
- Collaborating closely with legal assistants, case managers, and lien negotiators to drive cases forward
Key Requirements- 5+ years of plaintiff-side personal injury experience (no defense-side)
- Active attorney in good standing, barred in Illinois
- Stable work history - no short stints of a few months; reasonable tenure at each role expected
- Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred (Chicago clientele is bilingual)
- Comfortable working in-office 5 days a week in Chicago, IL
