Job OverviewIf you are a Perfusionist looking for an opportunity to work with an amazing team of 14 adult perfusionists in a practice that spans both academic and community hospital settings, then look no further. Not only do we have a great team, we have a group of supportive and collegial surgeons that make our work even that more enjoyable!
In This Role, You Will:- Provide case coverage for 10 surgeons (and growing) primarily at the M Health Fairview University of Minnesota Medical Centerand also M Health Fairview Southdale Hospital
- Handle predominantly adult bypass cases (including on-pump Cabs, Valves, minimally invasive valves, heart and lung transplants, complex aortic reconstruction, adult congenital, and VADs)
- Cover ECMO including initiations/transports from outside hospitals, excluding bedside management
- Handle other procedures including liver transplants, HIPEC, AngioVacs, and more
- Train future Perfusionists by clinically precepting students from various programs including UNMC and several others
Schedule:- 1.0 FTE
- Variable schedule, in house hospital coverage from 7am-5pm Monday-Friday
- Call one day per week (Mon-Thurs) and one weekend per month (Fri-Sun)
- Need to be able to respond to University of Minnesota Medical Center in Minneapolis within 30 minutes while on call
We're Looking For a Perfusionist Who Is:- Hard-working, has a positive attitude, and a desire to be a team-player.
- Willing to contribute to the growth and development of the team and has the ability to problem-solve and develop creative solutions to day-to-day challenges.
- Graduate of an Accredited Cardiovascular Perfusion Technology Program.
- Certified by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion or board eligible.
- Certified in BLS.

The full-time salary range is $181,311-$246,783 commensurate with practice experience and may also include incentive compensation or additional specialty-specific compensation components. Salary prorated based on FTE.
