We are looking for a hands-on
Performance Tester with strong experience investigating performance issues across cloud-based enterprise applications.
This role goes beyond running load tests. We are looking for someone who can be given an unexplained performance issue and independently determine where to investigate-application, Kubernetes/AWS infrastructure, JVM, logs, or PostgreSQL-and drive the problem through to root cause.

Tecsys Elite, our enterprise supply chain platform supporting warehouse, healthcare, hospital, and pharmacy operations.
What You'll Do
- Design and execute performance, load, stress, scalability, and endurance tests.
- Build realistic workload models and performance test plans.
- Investigate performance issues across Kubernetes, AWS, Java/JVM, application logs, and PostgreSQL.
- Build and maintain performance tests using JMeter and critical UI validations using Playwright.
- Analyze pod/node metrics, resource limits, autoscaling, JVM behavior, slow queries, execution plans, locks, and indexing.
- Use monitoring and APM tools such as Datadog to identify regressions and validate improvements.
- Create and troubleshoot test environments and large-scale test datasets.
- Work directly with developers to identify issues and verify fixes.
- Use Python for scripting, automation, and analysis.
RequirementsQualifications:- 5+ years of hands-on performance or scalability engineering experience.
- Recent experience testing applications in cloud and Kubernetes environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with JMeter.
- Experience with Playwright and APM/monitoring tools such as Datadog.
- Practical knowledge of AWS, Kubernetes, JVM performance, and PostgreSQL troubleshooting.
- Experience reviewing database execution plans and investigating slow queries.
- Comfortable with Linux, Git, Python, and modern IDEs.
- Able to independently configure and troubleshoot test environments and data.
- Strong problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills.
- Experience with WMS, supply chain, healthcare, pharmacy, SRE, platform engineering, or backend development is an asset.
