What We're Looking For: The ETF Office of Talent Management is currently looking for a Performance Management Specialist to join our team. This position serves as a key contributor within the team and provides superior service and collaboration with strategic business partners. Position Summary

As the Performance Management Specialist, you will help manage employee performance management strategies and provide technical assistance to managers and other staff that support our strategic goals and modernization efforts. You will also analyze business partner needs and consult with supervisors and managers regarding how to address employee performance issues and follow policies and procedures. In this position, you will significantly contribute to ongoing enhancements surrounding agency competencies.

Key responsibilities include:

  • System Administration of the Cornerstone Performance Module
  • Analysis of agency workforce data
  • Coordinating the Performance Management program
  • Staff coaching and creation of development plans
  • Managing system reporting, including the building and running of reports, analysis of reporting, and making recommendations for future improvements to key business partners.

Salary Information

This position is in classification IS Business Automation Specialist (pay schedule/range 07-33) with a starting annual salary of $88192-$108992 , plus excellent benefits.

Pay for current and new state employees will be set in accordance with the Wisconsin State Compensation Plan in effect at the time of appointment.

Job Details

ETF offers hybrid remote/office workThe selected employee(s) must report to ETF's office on the first day of employment , at least once a week, and as operational needs require. All employees are expected to be headquartered and work within the state of Wisconsin.

ETF does not sponsor work visas. Any appointment made will be contingent on the applicant being able to prove valid status to work in the United States.

Prior to any appointments for position(s) filled from this announcement, candidates may be subject to a comprehensive criminal background check to determine whether the circumstances of any conviction may be related to the duties required of the position.

A 12-month probationary is required.

Qualifications

Minimally Qualified candidates will have experience in all of the following :

  • Working in an HR or learning and development role using a Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and/or Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Coaching and developing supervisors/managers on HR related topics (i.e. leadership development training, competency training, management coaching, performance management, etc.)
  • Developing reports and analyzing workforce data (e.g. metrics, reports, attendance tracking, queries, feedback analysis, etc.)
  • Presenting information and recommendations to a variety of stakeholders (e.g., management, employees, board members)

In addition, Highly Qualified candidates will also have experience with some of the following :

  • Working as a system administrator making configuration decisions and changes to an HRIS or LMS system
  • Coaching/guiding supervisors on performance management processes
  • Leading organizational initiatives utilizing project management and/or change management methodologies
