Performance Controlling Manufacturing ManagerWe are looking for a Performance Controlling Manufacturing Manager to lead financial controlling and performance management activities for our manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for delivering financial accuracy, transparency, and insight that support operational and strategic decision-making. The position leads a team of three professionals and drives finance digitalization and continuous improvement across core processes.
In this role, you will partner closely with manufacturing and business leadership to strengthen cost transparency, improve reporting, enhance decision support, and advance automation across the finance function.
This position is located in Roebuck, South Carolina and will require to be onsite. You'll make an impact by: - Leading factory controlling activities, including manufacturing rate calculations, KPI monitoring, and financial performance analysis for plant operations.
- Driving month-end closing, reporting, reconciliations, costing, and variance analysis to ensure accurate and timely financial results.
- Managing plant profit and loss performance, inventory controlling, reserves, and capital expenditure reporting in alignment with internal standards.
- Providing actionable financial insights to operational and strategic leaders to improve decision-making, transparency, and business outcomes.
- Advancing finance digitalization through automation, process standardization, and system improvements that enhance efficiency and data quality.
- Coaching and developing a team of finance professionals while fostering accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
You'll win us over by having the following qualifications: Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in finance or controlling, including 3+ years in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong expertise in manufacturing controlling, cost accounting, profit and loss management, and inventory finance.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to influence across functions.
- Proven leadership capability and experience managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience leading controlling activities within a complex manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Background in finance digitalization, automation, dashboarding, or system implementation initiatives.
- Advanced knowledge of costing, inventory controls, capital expenditure reporting, and performance management.
- Experience developing teams and partnering effectively with operations and senior leadership.
- Master's degree, MBA, CPA, CMA, or comparable advanced qualifications.

The pay range for this position is $102,459 - $175,644 annually with a target incentive of 10% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
