PeopleSoft/Oracle HCM Payroll Specialist:
Role: Remote, needs to work on PST
Seeking a mid-to-senior level Payroll Systems Specialist with deep expertise in both PeopleSoft and Oracle HCM Cloud to support the LNL HR Systems team. This is a hybrid operations/project role: the successful candidate will provide day-to-day payroll operations support on PeopleSoft while simultaneously contributing to the organization's strategic migration to Oracle HCM Cloud, with a strong focus on payroll modules.
• Provide day-to-day operational support for PeopleSoft payroll processing, including troubleshooting, issue resolution, and end-of-cycle support for payroll runs.
• Act as an on-call resource during payroll processing days, which may require availability outside standard business hours to ensure accurate and timely payroll execution.
• Monitor and resolve payroll processing errors, working closely with HR, Finance, and IT stakeholders to maintain data integrity.
• Support configuration updates, patches, and enhancements to the PeopleSoft payroll environment. Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll Implementation
• Collaborate with internal HR and IT teams to ensure seamless data migration and parallel testing between PeopleSoft and Oracle HCM payroll environments.
• Develop and document functional specifications, test scripts, and end-user training materials related to Oracle HCM payroll.
5+ years of hands-on experience with PeopleSoft HCM, with strong depth in the Payroll for North America module, including pay cycle processing, tax updates, garnishments, retro pay, and time & labor integration.
• 3+ years of experience with Oracle HCM Cloud, with demonstrated functional or technical knowledge of Oracle Payroll or equivalent HCM payroll modules.
• Strong domain expertise in end-to-end payroll operations, compliance, and payroll accounting principles.
• Experience supporting payroll operations in large, complex organizations (5,000+ employees), including handling payroll runs, reconciliations, and off-cycle payrolls.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve payroll processing issues independently and under time pressure.
