Responsibilities

Full Job Description
Koniag Emerging Technologies, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a PeopleSoft Functional Analyst II with a Secret security clearance to support KET and our government customer in Washington, DC. This is a hybrid position.

The PeopleSoft functional analyst supports Production operations, maintenance and enhancement. The functional analyst will work with business users to document current-state and future-state business processes, develop functional and system requirements, perform testing of delivered code, and document operational procedures.

The ideal candidate will be able to support the following functions:
  • Apply knowledge of Federal personnel processing and PeopleSoft Federal HCM to guide business owners and product owners to define business goals, and application functional solutions
  • Analyze business requirements and assist with configuring the PeopleSoft HRMS application to meet continuing HR needs
  • Meet with HR systems owners and end users to define business requirements and systems goals, and identify and resolve business systems issues
  • Lead discussions with stakeholders and effectively document meeting results
  • Lead other functional analysts as required
  • Research questions involving functionality in various versions and modules of PeopleSoft
  • Document the functionality of the current and future system through various information gathering techniques
  • Support the design process and work with technical personnel to identify specific system requirements
  • Coordinate activities simultaneously for multiple projects
  • Develop, execute, and document comprehensive test plans for PeopleSoft Federal HCM


Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years' experience with PeopleSoft Federal HCM and Position Management
  • 5+ years' Federal HR Personnel Processing knowledge
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to develop schedule and effectively communicate progress for assigned projects
  • Understand and document business processes
  • Ability to conduct Gap analysis and develop solutions
  • Ability to interpret business requirements into system designs
  • Develop and write system requirements
  • Write and execute test plans
  • Apply core SDLC principles
  • Must have an active Secret Clearance


Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a systems development-related area of study
  • Oracle PeopleSoft Human Capital Management (HCM) certification
