Job Description

Job Summary:
Serves as a local representative of People Practices (PP) to support delivery of employee and candidate lifecycle services within a business unit, large project site, workgroup, or Family of Companies. Partners with the business partner team to execute onboarding processes, cultural initiatives, and employee engagement activities. Acts as the first point of contact for employees and coaches, connecting individuals to appropriate tools, resources, and service channels. Supports consistent application of People Practices policies and processes while contributing to a positive and inclusive employee experience.

Key Responsibilities:
Partners with the business partner team to support delivery of employee and candidate lifecycle programs and services.
Serves as a first point of contact for employees and coaches, providing guidance on available People Practices resources and escalating complex matters to the appropriate service channel.
Interprets and applies company policies, processes, and procedures to ensure consistent People Practices support at the local level.
Coordinates implementation of enterprise onboarding processes, including facilitation of 30/60/90-day check-ins with new employees and coaches.
Collaborates with Centers of Excellence (COEs) and People Operations to execute local People Practices services, including training logistics, new hire orientation, and local programming.
Organizes and manages People Practices events and meaningful connection points for employees to support engagement, inclusion, safety awareness, and cultural alignment.
Supports tactical employee lifecycle activities, including interview coordination and off-boarding processes such as asset retrieval and system updates.

Education Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, psychology, or a related field required.

Work Experience:
2-4 years of experience in human resources, operations support, employee engagement, or a related field required.
Construction industry experience preferred.

Certifications and Licenses:
Human resources certification such as Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or Professional in Human Resources (PHR) preferred.
Human resources or people practices–related certification preferred (for e.g., SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP), Professional in Human Resources (PHR), or equivalent).
Successful completion of a background check is required.

Anticipated starting pay range:

$82,000.00- $123,000.00
