A24 is looking for a systems-minded People Operations Specialist who looks at a clunky process and thinks: I can rebuild this better. This role owns the workflows and platforms behind our People function, and builds the apps that employees and managers will actually use. This role will work closely with the rest of our People team, translating what's needed into better processes, interfaces, and solutions.
This position is based in our New York City office.
Responsibilities - What you'll do
- Reimagine how the People team works: Evaluate People team processes and tools, identifying opportunities for greater efficiency and impact
- Manage operational flows: Support end-to-end HR processes from recruitment to onboarding to development and beyond, removing friction and ensuring a smooth employee experience
- Design new solutions: Build and maintain scalable apps and platforms that leaders, managers, and employees will actually want to use
- Build thoughtful automations: Spot repetitive, manual work and automate where needed
- Own people-related systems and data: Be the expert on our HR tech stack, managing and auditing employee information, data changes, and documentation - proactively flagging or fixing inconsistencies to ensure accuracy and proper record keeping
- Document and standardize: Create clear documentation for processes and programs so that knowledge isn't siloed and workflows can scale as the team grows
Qualifications - What you bring
- 4+ years of experience in consulting, business ops, or people analytics
- Passion for building better systems, workflows, and apps
- Hands-on experience with automation tools, coding, and/or advanced Excel work
- Comfort with ambiguity and working in fast, creative environments
- Humble and resourceful, with a no-task-is-too-small attitude
Our target salary range for this role is between $90,000 to $125,000. We do not use formal job titles internally and similarly named positions may have different compensation levels. Actual starting salary within the range will depend on various considerations, including: work experience, skills, specializations, and training. This role is also eligible for an annual performance bonus, including both cash and equity components, competitive healthcare, as well as other employee benefits.
