People Operations ManagerAbout the roleAs People Operations Manager, you'll execute the operational foundation of the teammate experience at Evio. Reporting to the Head of Evio Experience, you'll help ensure every stage of the teammate experience is thoughtful, well-executed, and compliant. Evio is a growing company with increasing teammate support needs. This is a hands-on role where you'll serve as Evio's subject matter expert on benefits, administer people operations, manage our people systems and vendor relationships, and ensure teammates receive timely, knowledgeable support throughout their time at Evio.

What you'll doAdminister benefits and support teammates- Administer Evio's benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), disability, COBRA, and other benefit offerings.
- Become Evio's internal expert on benefit programs, providing timely, knowledgeable support to teammates and helping them navigate questions and life events.
- Resolve benefit issues by partnering closely with teammates, brokers, carriers, and vendors.
- Administer leaves of absence and workplace accommodations.
- Manage relationships with benefits brokers, vendors, and other external partners.
- Recommend improvements to benefits and people policies based on teammate feedback, operational insights, and evolving business needs.
Own people systems and operational excellence- Own the day-to-day administration of people systems, including Justworks and future people technology platforms.
- Ensure people systems, teammate records, workflows, and documentation remain accurate, organized, and up to date.
- Document, maintain, and continuously improve people processes to support consistency and scale.
- Maintain SOC-related people operations controls and documentation.
- Identify practical opportunities to simplify, automate, and improve operational processes.
Support policies and compliance - Help maintain the teammate handbook and people policies.
- Ensure required employment notices and documentation remain current.
- Partner with Legal and the Head of Evio Experience to support employment law compliance.
- Maintain documentation standards and consistent employment practices.
- Help ensure leave, accommodation, and employment practices are administered consistently and compliantly.
Coordinate onboarding and offboarding - Execute the operational aspects of the teammate journey from pre-boarding through offboarding.
- Coordinate pre-boarding logistics to ensure new teammates have a seamless start.
- Manage offboarding processes, documentation, and logistics.
- Administer company calendars, and recurring people operations processes.
Your skills and experience- 5+ years of experience in people operations, human resources, teammate experience, benefits administration, HR compliance, or a closely related operational role. We welcome candidates whose experience may come from a variety of backgrounds, provided they've demonstrated ownership of core people responsibilities such as benefits administration, people systems, HR compliance, and supporting the teammate lifecycle in a growing organization.
- Strong experience administering employee benefits and supporting teammates through benefit questions, life events, and leave administration.
- Experience managing people systems and maintaining accurate teammate records and workflows.
- Experience managing relationships with external vendors, brokers, and service providers.
- Working knowledge of human resources practices, employment law, HR compliance, accommodations, documentation standards, and leave administration.
- Experience documenting and improving operational processes in a growing organization.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to explain complex information clearly and compassionately.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion, sound judgment, and professionalism.

Salary considerationsThe anticipated salary range for this position is
$100,000-$130,000 annually plus additional variable compensation.

Compensation includes base pay (range shown) and could include other variable compensation opportunities depending on job seniority, location, and date of hire.
