Job Summary

This role helps deliver some of the most important moments in an employee's journey, from annual pay reviews, promotions and compensation changes to job changes, reorganizations, workforce transitions and terminations.

The People Experience Senior Specialist, Lifecycle & Operations combines strong operational delivery, data discipline and process improvement to ensure employee and compensation activities are completed accurately, consistently and in line with policy, legal, payroll and audit requirements.

Working across People Experience, Total Rewards, Payroll, Finance, People Business Partners, Org Design and Advisory teams, the role manages sensitive employee and pay data, supports Workday transactions and mass updates, maintains high-quality controls, and helps improve how work is delivered through standardization, automation, AI-enabled tools and continuous improvement.

Success in this role requires strong analytical capability, attention to detail, sound judgement, discretion, and a commitment to delivering a high-quality employee and manager experience.

Responsibilities

Compensation Operations and Annual Pay Cycle
  • Support the operational delivery of the Annual Pay cycle, ensuring processes, service channels, controls and hand-offs are ready and executed consistently
  • Review compensation data, complete eligibility and data validation checks, and perform operational audits to identify discrepancies and support accurate cycle execution
  • Manage compensation-related escalations and enable People Advisory and digital service platforms to resolve routine queries and cases at scale, with clear guidance, escalation paths with People Solutions and other partners
  • Oversee compensation content and knowledge management, ensuring process guidance, knowledge articles, manager resources and operational documentation remain accurate, current and accessible
  • Maintain and deliver training and communications to support effective execution of the compensation cycle
  • Work with People Solutions teams to refine service delivery and enable compensation support at scale, ensuring managers have the information, tools and guidance needed to fulfil their responsibilities
  • Support digital enablement of compensation operations through self-service content, workflow improvements, automation and effective use of service management and HR technology tools


Lifecycle and Workforce Transitions
  • Support lifecycle and transition processes including job changes, internal transfers, international transfers, reorganizations, reductions in force, offboarding and terminations
  • Prepare and validate datasets, sequencing plans, Workday actions and supporting documentation for lifecycle and transition activity
  • Execute or support Workday transactions and mass updates, ensuring accurate employee data and downstream feeds to Payroll, Benefits and other systems
  • Provide clear and timely updates to employees, managers and HR stakeholders throughout lifecycle events
  • Identify risks, exceptions or data discrepancies and escalate appropriately


Data, Controls and Reporting
  • Manage high volumes of employee, compensation and organizational data with accuracy, confidentiality and strong attention to detail
  • Perform data analysis, reconciliations, comparisons, variance checks and validations using Excel, Workday and reporting tools
  • Produce operational reporting on cycle status, spend, budget utilization, data quality, completion tracking, transition progress and service performance
  • Maintain audit-ready records of compensation decisions, lifecycle transactions, approvals, documentation updates and data changes
  • Support pay equity, pay transparency, regulatory reporting and audit activity as required


Process Improvement and Digital Enablement
  • Continuously evaluate compensation and lifecycle processes to identify opportunities for simplification, standardization, automation and improved employee experience
  • Lead or support process improvement initiatives using data, root cause analysis and stakeholder feedback
  • Identify manual activities suitable for automation, AI enablement or workflow optimisation and support implementation of agreed solutions
  • Maintain and improve SOPs, work instructions, process maps, runbooks, templates, knowledge articles and manager guidance
  • Capture lessons learned from compensation cycles, reorganisations, RIFs, transfers and other lifecycle events, embedding improvements into future delivery
  • Support transition, centralisation and operating model transformation activity, including process redesign, testing, knowledge transfer and change support


Stakeholder Partnership and Service Delivery
  • Partner with Total Rewards, Compensation Partners, People Business Partners, People Solutions, Payroll, Finance, Org Design, and Policy Advisory teams
  • Provide timely updates on progress, risks, dependencies, data readiness and outstanding actions
  • Support regional and partnership requests including off-cycle compensation activity, employee pay reviews, job grading requests and lifecycle escalations
  • Respond to manager, employee and HR queries accurately, professionally and within agreed service standards
  • Communicate process requirements, timelines and next steps clearly for different audiences


Qualifications

Required
  • Experience in compensation operations, HR operations, employee lifecycle services, reward administration, finance operations or another data-intensive operational environment
  • Experience working with sensitive employee, pay, organisational or workforce data
  • Strong analytical capability, including data validation, reconciliations, reporting, modelling and problem-solving
  • Experience using Workday or another HR technology platform
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver accurately in time-sensitive cycles
  • Good judgement, discretion and confidence handling confidential information
  • Ability to work across multiple stakeholders and communicate clearly
  • Experience identifying process gaps and supporting practical improvements


Preferred
  • Experience with Workday Advanced Compensation and mass data processing
  • Knowledge of annual pay cycles, bonus plans, salary structures, market data or compensation governance
  • Experience supporting job changes, transfers, reorganisations, workforce reductions or termination activity
  • Understanding of audit controls, pay equity, pay transparency, employee data privacy or regulatory reporting
  • Experience using automation, AI-enabled tools, workflow technologies or digital process improvement


The targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are:

United States - Dallas Infomart Office DAI : 80,000 - 120,000 USD / Annual

Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location.The pay range shown is based on our compensation structure in place at the time of posting and may be updated periodically based on business needs. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.

The targeted pay range listed reflects the base pay only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Employees are eligible for bonus, and equity may be offered depending on the position.
