About the Role

At AV, we believe exceptional people experiences are critical to building and maintaining a strong, high-performing company. We're looking for a thoughtful, strategic, and execution-oriented People & Culture Manager to help shape that experience as we scale..

This role is equal parts people experience strategist, trusted coach, culture builder, and operational partner. You'll work closely with the Chief People Officer and leaders across the organization to build programs, processes, and experiences that strengthen engagement, elevate leadership, and support a collaborative, high-performing culture.

This role will have a meaningful impact on how AV scales its culture, develops leaders, and supports employees through growth and change, helping shape the experiences, partnerships, and foundations that define how people experience work at AV every day.
What You'll Do

Employee Experience & Culture
  • Shape and continuously improve the employee journey across the full employee lifecycle from onboarding through development, engagement, and retention
  • Design onboarding experiences that help new hires feel connected, productive, and immersed in AV's culture from day one
  • Lead engagement initiatives including pulse surveys, feedback programs, recognition efforts, and culture-building experiences
  • Partner with leaders to strengthen team health, communication, collaboration, and overall employee engagement
  • Serve as a trusted and approachable partner to employees and managers, balancing empathy with sound judgment and business perspective
  • Help reinforce and scale the cultural foundations that make AV a strong place to grow and do great work

Leadership Support & Talent Development
  • Partner closely with managers to strengthen leadership effectiveness, coaching capabilities, and team performance
  • Support performance conversations, growth planning, and manager enablement with thoughtful guidance, coaching and scalable resources
  • Help build scalable learning and development programs that support employee growth and career progression
  • Facilitate trainings, workshops, and team development sessions that align with AV's evolving needs
  • Contribute to talent and organizational planning efforts as AV continues to grow

People Processes & Operations
  • Partner with the CPO to design, implement, and evolve People programs, policies, and processes that align with AV's culture and business priorities
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows, simplify processes, and create a more seamless employee and manager experience
  • Help optimize and evolve the People tech stack, leveraging systems and automation to create a more seamless and scalable employee experience
  • Use employee insights, feedback, and data to inform recommendations and drive continuous improvement
  • Support organizational change initiatives and help leaders navigate growth and evolution effectively
Who You Are
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, Organizational Development, or a related field preferred
  • 7+ years of experience in People Operations, Employee Experience, HR Business Partnering, Talent Development, or related People & Culture roles
  • Experience operating in fast-paced, high-growth, or evolving environments where adaptability and execution matter
  • Strong relationship-building and coaching skills with the ability to influence across all levels of the organization
  • High emotional intelligence with the ability to navigate sensitive situations with empathy, professionalism, and discretion
  • Strong program management and operational skills with excellent follow-through and attention to detail
  • Experience building or improving People programs, systems, workflows, or employee processes
  • Ability to think strategically while also executing independently and driving work forward
  • Strong communication skills with a collaborative, low-ego, solutions-oriented approach
  • Passion for creating meaningful employee experiences and building strong, healthy teams
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States
