Position SummaryThe People & Culture Manager - P&C Operations is responsible for managing key P&C programs and processes that support a consistent, compliant, and positive employee experience. This role focuses on performance management administration, leave administration, benefits support, payroll coordination, recruiting support, and P&C reporting.
The P&C Manager partners with leaders, employees, payroll providers, benefits vendors, and candidates to ensure accurate execution of P&C processes, timely reporting, and effective administration of employee programs.
Essential FunctionsPerformance Management- Manage the organization's performance management process, including annual reviews, goal setting, check-ins, and performance documentation.
- Develop and maintain performance review timelines, communications, and tracking processes.
- Partner with managers to ensure timely completion of performance evaluations and related documentation.
- Maintain accurate performance management records and reporting.
- Identify opportunities to improve performance management processes and enhance consistency across the organization.
- Support leaders with tools, resources, and guidance related to the performance review process.
Recruiting Support- Support recruiting activities throughout the employee lifecycle, including job postings, candidate coordination, interview scheduling, and offer documentation.
- Partner with hiring managers to support an efficient and positive candidate experience.
- Assist with maintaining recruiting records, tracking candidate progress, and preparing recruiting reports.
- Support onboarding processes to ensure a smooth transition for new employees.
- Assist with recruiting projects and process improvements as needed.
Leave Administration- Manage employee leave administration processes, including medical leave, family leave, and other approved leaves of absence.
- Coordinate required documentation, tracking, and communications throughout the leave process.
- Partner with employees, managers, and leave providers to ensure timely and accurate leave administration.
- Support compliance with applicable leave requirements and company policies.
- Maintain confidential leave records and reporting.
Benefits Administration Support- Provide backup support for employee benefits administration, including health and welfare plans, retirement plans, and other employee programs.
- Assist employees with benefit-related questions and enrollment support.
- Support annual open enrollment activities, including communications, employee resources, and coordination with benefits providers.
- Partner with benefits vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve administrative issues.
- Maintain accurate benefits-related records and documentation.
Payroll Support- Provide payroll support by reviewing and coordinating employee data updates, status changes, and payroll-impacting information.
- Partner with payroll providers to support accurate and timely payroll processing.
- Assist with payroll audits, reconciliations, and reporting.
- Support resolution of payroll discrepancies and employee payroll questions.
- Maintain payroll-related documentation and records.
P&C Reporting & Data Management- Prepare and maintain P&C reports, dashboards, and metrics to support business needs and decision-making.
- Monitor P&C data accuracy and ensure timely updates within P&C systems.
- Provide reporting related to performance management, recruiting, leave utilization, benefits, payroll, and employee data.
- Identify trends and provide insights to support P&C planning and process improvements.
- Maintain organized and confidential P&C documentation.
P&C Operations & Process Improvement- Maintain P&C processes, procedures, and documentation to support consistent execution.
- Support compliance initiatives through accurate recordkeeping, reporting, and process adherence.
- Assist with P&C projects and initiatives as assigned.
- Identify opportunities to streamline P&C processes and improve the employee experience.
Additional Responsibilities- Maintain knowledge of P&C best practices, policies, and applicable regulations.
- Provide support for special projects and organizational initiatives as needed.

- Technical Proficiency - Demonstrates proficiency with HRIS/P&C systems, applicant tracking systems, payroll systems, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams), and reporting tools. Learns new technologies quickly and applies them to improve operational effectiveness.

Applied Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, People & Culture, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in People & Culture, Human Resources, or a related field, with experience managing P&C programs and processes.
- Experience supporting performance management programs, recruiting processes, leave administration, payroll support, and benefits programs.
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Experience with P&C/HRIS systems and Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Qualifications- P&C or HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent).
- Experience supporting P&C compliance activities and audits.
- Experience managing P&C reporting and data analytics.
- Experience partnering with payroll and benefits vendors.
Salary InformationThis position has a salary range of $85,000.00-$105,000.00.
