About the Role

The HealthCare Connection is seeking a Board-Certified Pediatrician to join our team and provide high-quality, accessible primary care to children and families in the communities we serve. The Pediatrician provides direct medical care to pediatric patients in a primary healthcare setting. Responsibilities include patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning and implementation, evaluation, and ongoing monitoring of each patient's overall care plan.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive primary and preventive pediatric care.
  • Perform patient histories, physical examinations, assessments, and diagnoses.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Evaluate patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.
  • Monitor the overall management of assigned patients.
  • Provide health education, preventive care, immunizations, and anticipatory guidance.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential medical records.
  • Collaborate effectively with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, behavioral health professionals, and other members of the care team.
  • Provide culturally sensitive care to patients and families from diverse educational, socioeconomic, and ethnic backgrounds.
  • Participate in shared pediatric call coverage.

Qualifications:
  • Medical degree.
  • Board certification in Pediatrics.
  • Completion of three years of pediatric residency training.
  • Demonstrated clinical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team across the organization.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive information.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with individuals from diverse educational, socioeconomic, and ethnic backgrounds.

Preferred:
  • One to three years of experience in an ambulatory care setting, community health center, FQHC, or similar practice environment.
